Legal Issues
As a result of attending this workshop, faculty attendees will be able to:
- Identify potential areas for legal concern in the classroom and academic work environment.
- Define sexual harassment.
- Identify appropriate and inappropriate behavior between coworkers.
- Identify appropriate and inappropriate classroom behavior related to gender or sex.
- Redesign their syllabi and classroom assignments to minimize the potential for sexual harassment complaints.
